PTI’s ‘Jail Bharo’ drive to start from Lahore on 22nd

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Friday announced that his birthday party’s ‘Jail Bharo Tehreek’ could start from Lahore next week in protest towards economic instability and the alleged crackdown on PTI leaders and workers.Addressing celebration supporters from his Zaman Park house in Lahore via video link, the previous top minister warned that when the ‘Jail Bharo Tehreek’, the rulers might find no location empty in prisons.

“I am directing my party to begin arrangements for the release of the movement on Feb 22, Wednesday,” he said. “We will begin the movement from Lahore, and then kick it off in all other primary towns each other day and we can fill all of the jails.”
